Gosfilmofond stages film events in Belarus

The film club “Sootechestvennik”, established with the support of Gosfilmofond of Russia in the House of Moscow, continues its work in Minsk. The whole April the film club will be showing films, united by the important topic – “The Victory! 70Years!” Film from the series “Battle Film Collection” have already been shown – those were short featured films, reflecting the struggle of the Soviet nation for the freedom and independence of its Motherland.

Also there was an event “Gosfilmofond for Children” in Uzdensk children’s home, organized together with CMC Minoblkinovideoprokat. The representative of Gosfilmofond of Russia handed foster-children the collection of Soviet animated films on digital mediums, and film distributors of the Minsk Region organized charity film showings for those children in the Cinema Rodina of the Maladzeychna Raion. The same cinema will host film showings from the collection of Gosfilmofond of Russia, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory, through April.
